Course Information

The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED  course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. The online portion features award-winning simulation learning – an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting and practice the skills that will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. Allow approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes to complete the online portion. The online course must be completed prior to attending the classroom portion of blended learning.

CORONOVIRUS ALERT

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness. If you are sick or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please reschedule your training to avoid exposing others.  Each student will be required to bring and wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status to help protect everyons safety.

All Blended Learning Classes require the online training to be complete before the in-person class.  Please click on the hyperlink below to access the online training course. This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion of this course features simulation learning; an experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting, which will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session.

The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. Allow 2 hours 10 minutes to complete the online portion of First Aid/CPR/AED training. Please make sure your PC is equipped with Adobe Flash and High-Speed Internet connection. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years from the date of your completed class.

NOTE: A VALID EMAIL IS REQUIRED FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION WITH HYPERLINKS TO DO THE ONLINE PORTON OF THE CLASS AND FOR YOUR DIGITAL CERTIFICATION.  

Please dress comfortable as skills are performed on the floor. Students are required by the American Red Cross to perform one full round of CPR on the floor.  Should you have medical restrictions, please reach out to your instructor before registering to inquire about possible accommodations.
