Course Information
The Basic Life Support blended learning course will includes all standard scientific learning objectives necessary in professional resuscitation courses, but also allows students to develop their critical thinking, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills, and work on reflection and debriefing, which serves to strengthen their overall learning and work experience. In addition, our courses are modular and flexible, and offer medical directors, educators and Red Cross training partners the ability to tailor courses to their local protocols, and their students' specific needs.
CORONOVIRUS ALERT
COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness. If you are sick or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please reschedule your training to avoid exposing others. Each student will be required to bring and wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status to help protect everyons safety.
All Blended Learning Classes require the online training to be complete before the in-person class. Please click on the hyperlink below to access the online training course. This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion of this course features simulation learning; an experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting, which will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session.
The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. Allow 2 hours 10 minutes to complete the online portion and 2 1/12 hours in person training. Please make sure your PC is equipped with Adobe Flash and High-Speed Internet connection. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for BLS valid for two years from the date of your completed class.
NOTE: A VALID EMAIL IS REQUIRED FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION WITH HYPERLINKS TO DO THE ONLINE PORTON OF THE CLASS AND FOR YOUR DIGITAL CERTIFICATION.
Please dress comfortable as skills are performed on the floor. Students are required by the American Red Cross to perform one full round of CPR on the floor. Should you have medical restrictions, please reach out to your instructor before registering to inquire about possible accommodations.

Please follow the link below to complete the online portion of training. Allow yourself 2.5-3 hours to complete the online training. You must provide a copy of your certificate of completion to your instructor on the first day of class in order to participate in the in-class portion of training. In person session will be 2 1/2 hrs
